You will find beauty in every person and experience, but only if beauty has first been cultivated within. The supreme hallmark of reality is balance. Balance and fullness exist in the polarity of all things. How we choose to perceive affects how we partake of reality; narrowly or completely. When you engage in cynicism, pessimism and mean sarcasm you are amplifying imbalance and negativity in your life. It is not fair or realistic to be negative all the time. Dominant negativity cheats reality of its mutual positives. Your complete intelligence is designed to experience the fullness of life, not a narrow omission of its best possibilities. The world we create in our minds shapes the ultimate reality where we live. Perception meets you at the intersection of your beliefs and reality. Hopeful visions touch possibilities that only exist in the gaze of the faithful. So remember. If you want to live a new way, you have to start thinking that way. Your thoughts precede the lifestyle, not the other way around.

"If you realized how powerful your thoughts are, you would never think a negative thought." — Peace Pilgrim

Understand the negative, but do not amplify the negative. Be aware of negativity but do not let it infect your creative spirit. We each project to others a reflection of the world that includes our choices of perception. Look upon the world with loving eyes and the reflection everyone sees will contain love. When we choose to engage reality as the best each moment can be, we are shaping more positive experiences for others. When we process our pain, and pass on only the lessons to others, our quiet suffering uplifts everyone. Become an extension of the light in the lives of others. By choosing positivity, you become a contender for the human spirit, giving hope to those in need. The incredibly powerful and enriching lifestyle of seeking beauty is a humble service of love and healing. Tremendously meaningful healing for yourself begins with how you choose to see the world. A more wonderful life and a more beautiful world is one thought away.

Everyone is beautiful. Even 'evil people' ... they have not allowed themselves to love and be loved. Love makes everyone beautiul.

Kind of like ignorance is bliss. I say if you have never had horrible experiences, you probably will think the world is rosy and that is what you'll see. But encounter true evil and you certainly will notice it as it stands out like a sore thumb. You can avoid it (sometimes) but it is there nonetheless just as is beauty.

Whatever resides within our perception is what is projected and reflected in our world outside. If we are true to who we are and know who we are then our filter of discernment is pure and unencumbered by others projecting their own personal fear based perception.. When in love, there is no room for fear and we see with clarity from the seat of the observer

Sometimes, ugly is there and one must admit it and NOT turn a blinds eye. Many suffer due to allowing EVIL to control and take over a people. Its mans heart that causes this?

We see the world according to the condition of our inner-self (condition of our spiritual hearts), hence the explaination of your quote.

Mary E Rapier LaLuna - Facebook.com
I do not believe that laws of attraction are really applicable totally to human beings as that is to suggest we have super powers. I think I said it best the other day. I fell and suffered a horrible injury. I feared that something such as this could happen as I had a horrible, unsafe schedule in my school. when I shared that recently with someone they said, "well, maybe you feared it too much!" Imagine? So I replied, well, if that is the truth then I should be a millionaire and a size 2! That rule of subconscious yada yada, only applies if you are the only person walking through this world. We are all confronted with ugliness and beauty. To pretend otherwise is to lie. Love and love will be what you seek, hate and you will be embraced by hate. that's all!

Avatar

I can absolutely say with 100 percent certainty that a lot of good fortune is purely luck and NOT b/c someone is gifted or has some magical positive energy. Bad things do happen to truly good people. There are examples everywhere (cancer, death, financial loss, misconduct, abuse). Obviously, we can do our best to be positive and should try to be kind and positive. Often just acting "as if" will turn even the darkest depression around. But, people, please do not put it out there that "bad stuff" is happening to someone b/c they brought it on. You do not know that. Some people do bring it to their door with poor choices or a bad attitude but, again, not always the case. All we can do is live day by day. I think the key to happiness is finding a job that you truly love and one that can support creativity as well as pay the bills. Then if you can find someone to share it with, you've got it made. . . for today. LOL

We recognize in others that which is in ourselves.

Avatar

Bryant McGill - Facebook.com
Very true Cindy. Recognition can be a two-way acknowledgment like a handshake. So, if you cannot recognize something in someone else, because that thing is not in you, the handshake does not occur. The "hidden" opportunities arrive, in what may seem like super powers, when something is acknowledged by another -- because it was in you and vice versa. This is just one of hundreds of viable "attraction" models. This is why some people may seem more "lucky." What are your thoughts everyone? (I could tell you dozens of real-life stories of how opportunity was received by people I know, because they were open, and how that same opportunity was shut off to someone else, though it was right there for them -- and they could not see it.) -- I will work on an essay about this and post it. I will call it "The opportunities that are there for you, but you cannot see."

We become what we seek. Perception is Reality. long answer: It's the same spiritual anomaly that can lead a person who is love based to read a Bible, or a Quran and find a message of unconditional love from a single passage, and another to read the same passage and find a more fundamentally oppressive stance.

Cousin Bryant, That has happened to me a few times in my distant past. For example I had an opportunity to acquire 30 acres that had 4 two story homes on it and part of the land was located in Kisatchie' Forest in Louisiana. It was being offered to me for $30,000.00. At that time I was only 22 years of age and not too bright when it came to Real Estate Value. I turned the man down who made me the offer to buy the land and homes. (Reason) That day after being approached with the offer I went home to my then wife and told her about what had just taken place. She was very upset. Earlier that day she had run into a KKK Rally in Shreveport LA. That was the time David Duke was running for Governor. She made it clear that she did not want to settle in Louisiana so we passed on the Opportunity. 2 years later I went back to see if the offer still stood. The Man Passed away. All the Land was being fought over in Probate Court by his sons. The land is Valued at over $ 2 Million today. Mostly due to the Value of the Timber on the land. Opportunity missed.

I only remember the mans last name. Mr. Perkins was his name. Very nice man. I was hunting for the first time with a Shot Gun and two borrowed Beagles. When I got to the Edge of the woods both dogs took off. One was Howling and the other was quiet. I was trying to follow both dogs through the Bushes. Now I know its called Thicket. LOL !!! I heard a loud laugh and when I turned around Mr. Perkins was standing in the middle of the Clearing. He called me over and asked what I was doing. I told him I am trying to hunt. He said, " No No No that is not the way you do it son. You let the Howler take off and the jumper (the silent dog) will turn that Rabbit or what ever it is your hunting around and bring it right back to you. You just sit and wait till you see it coming back to you through the woods" . He asked me how I like it in Louisiana. I told him I love it. He made me the offer and I told him I'd get back to him after I speak to my wife. I think I was a big disappointment to him when I said I can't buy the land. I will never forget that missed opportunity of a life time. Maybe he was trying to right a wrong. I feel bad for denying him that chance but at that time many people were being killed for no reason in Texas and Lousiana. When his son caught wind that his father was trying to sell me the land he stopped being my friend. His son worked in a Gym at Ft Polk and we use to talk to each other all the time. Not after his father wanted me to buy that land. I guess he felt it was his inheritance being sold.

Ugliness vs Beauty is a matter of judgment. If I do not judge it is neither ugliness or beauty. If I do judge it is based on my choice of view. I may chose to see both at the same time or one may dominate over the other. I think opposite qualities exist in everything such as yin and yang, good and evil, ugliness and beauty but it is the choice I make as to what I see.
