Connecting with essential truth and knowing oneself is the only way. Surrender is the path to freedom through our unique authenticity, where we experience the flow of life not through the narrow lens of the mind, but through the vast refuge of the heart. As Joseph Campbell said, “follow your bliss.” This concept speaks to the ultimate path as humility and surrender. Nothing else is needed. In your book you wrote, "The young will teach the old the new ways, and old will adapt or perish.", and you asked, "Are you still open to learning the ways of the young?" This is Awful!! NO!! Respect our elders, please!! They have the WISDOM! What do you mean? The graveyards are full of antiquated thinking. The young people are the forward edge of life's reach for understanding. As it has been said, through the mouths of babes, and from the little children we can learn much, yet many repeat this as mere lip service, because that type of learning requires true humility.
