Assassin's Creed III, Ubisoft Montreal and the Culture of Violence

Dec 6, 2012

Game Warning: “Mature 17+, BLOOD, INTENSE VIOLENCE, SEXUAL THEMES, STRONG LANGUAGE.” Let me translate the manufacture's warning above for everyone. This game is a rape against the soul and cerebellum of the untainted and sensitive psyche of any human, who has not yet been desensitized. This game is toxic soul-poison. Yet many feed on it seemingly unaffected, because they are conditioned and well-adjusted to a diet of violence. In today's sad and degenerate, beastly gallery of horrors; the literal slaughterhouse of what we call the present world, there are those who play this game and truly see no problem with it. These people, though they do not know it--in the same way a fish does not know it is wet--are super-casualties of a war against the gently sensitive and truly beautiful soul, of...

Violence waged against the women and children of the world must end

Oct 8, 2012

Women carry the heavy burden of caring for the literal and figurative future of humanity in every way: materially, maternally, and spiritually. The passive and overt violence waged against the women and children of the world must end. The world will change when women reclaim their power as the sane, nurturing hands of love, which are ever reaching to cultivate a world of beauty, safety and harmony. Through honoring, appreciating and nurturing women, we set in motion a seismic shift which will lead to a new and healthy relationship cycle. Eliminating violence and fear opens the portal to empowerment and communications. This respectful flow of information enables constructive, healthy, compassionate, and wisdom-based nurturing of male and female children. It is women who bring forth the fut...

We live in a culture of violence

Oct 4, 2012

We live in a culture of violence. We have been trained by a culture of violence and we are all agents of passive violence. This is because all of our relationships are based on self-interest, discrimination and a perverse need for gain. The need for gain, and advantage over others, is one of the chief driving forces behind all human misery. We are always being forced to achieve some gain from others in order to meet our basic needs, or to vampirically feed our lifestyle excesses and greed. [...] Violence is that which causes harm or forces unnatural change upon its victims. We are all artificial and have been unnaturally changed by violence and unwholesome conditioning. We all know there is something wrong with our culture, the state of our world, and with ourselves. Humanity has been ins...

Love heals violence and all its sources

Oct 4, 2012

We must all strive to self-reflect and to reject violence in all forms, from the subtle to the overt. We must all seek to unravel the deeply-rooted conditioning which has perverted us, and attempt to heal ourselves and set our inner-truth free. Love heals violence and all its sources. Love only serves and does not calculate. Love gives without expectation, while hate carries an endless tally of debts. Hate controls everything it touches, but love sets everything it touches free. To end violence we must only look within ourselves, understand ourselves and evolve ourselves. Innocence still lives within our hearts and the child within each of us knows right from wrong. All violence demands reform, and all violence desperately begs to be healed.

Believe in young people, for they really are the future

Aug 26, 2012

In your book you wrote, "The young will teach the old the new ways, and old will adapt or perish.", and you asked, "Are you still open to learning the ways of the young?" This is Awful!! NO!! Respect our elders, please!! They have the WISDOM! What do you mean? The graveyards are full of antiquated thinking. The young people are the forward edge of life's reach for understanding. As it has been said, through the mouths of babes, and from the little children we can learn much, yet many repeat this as mere lip service, because that type of learning requires true humility. Life moves forward, not backwards. Once you are set in your ways and closed off, you are finished until you become open again. "Elders" often suggest young people should "respect" them, but what they really mean is submit t...

I am the Lie, I am the Destroyer...

Sep 22, 2004

I have heard the rumors and whispering of discontentment I have seen the shaking, angry fists and pointing fingers I have felt the hot breath of heavy arguments raging I have tasted the bitterness of people divided by lies And… I know the joys that set the roots of longing in your past I feel the desperation in your pleas for promise and hope I sense the anxiety as you hold tightly onto the present I believe in your worthy longsuffering to shape the future For You’re the split bodies that bathed distant shores to bloody red You’re the American, born, baptized, and buried dressed in white You’re the desperate hands that hold the stars on waving fields of blue You’re the wish that your bright banner would never fade away Yet I will blow down your sacred edifices of long traditions I will...
