Nine key executives with cumulative experience of over 150 years in the technology market make up the core of the current structure of the company. All of these executives have risen to the very top of their chosen professions and consistently demonstrated an ability to execute business models that have made them number one among their peer constituents. Over the last 15 years, the cumulative efforts of this group have delivered a combined sales volume of $5.25 billion in the technology industry. ## Executive team ### Cristopher G. Hollingsworth — President & COO Mr. Hollingsworth has earned a solid reputation in the sales and marketing fields. His previous sales and marketing management roles include the development of highly successful sales teams at market-leading organizations like CompUSA Direct, Sears Roebuck & Company, and Shearson Lehman Hutton. He has directed sales-force organizations that have numbered up to 45 geographically distributed participants and has always maintained sales teams that have been rated in the top 5% among their respective peer groups. In his last position as President of Compulutions, he established a start-up organization that delivered over $4 million in first-year sales from clients in sectors consisting of financial, fast food/point of sale, government agencies, and numerous Fortune 500 organizations. Previous to founding Compulutions, Mr. Hollingsworth led a Direct Sales team at CompUSA that more than doubled sales to over $27 million in 16 months and moved from the bottom third of the organization to number two in North American sales. He has and still owns the national team sales record for Sears, Roebuck and Company. He has bachelor's degrees in Finance and Economics from the University of Washington and an Associate Master's degree in Financial Economics from the University of Virginia. ### Robert Van Siclen — VP of Corporate Resources Mr. Van Siclen graduated from Oregon State University with his law degree in 1972. Since that time he has built an extensive practice in the Western Washington law community through a series of transitions which include extensive experience in trial, real-estate, human-resource, and business law. He has been the legal representative to the Washington Education Association for over 15 years and has served as the City Attorney for both the Kent and Auburn communities. He has received numerous accolades from the Washington Bar Association and the American Bar Association for his legal and community-service work. ## Board of directors ### Bernard Daines Mr. Daines has over 20 years of experience in the networking industry and is widely recognized as an expert in Ethernet technology. Most recently, he founded Packet Engines, a Gigabit Ethernet routing-switch manufacturer that was sold to Paris-based Alcatel in 1998 for $325 million. In 1992, Daines co-founded Grand Junction Networks, a Fast Ethernet switch manufacturer that was sold to Cisco Systems in 1995 for $350 million. Mr. Daines has been instrumental in the development of the IEEE standards and innovative solutions for Fast Ethernet and Gigabit Ethernet. His contributions to the advancement of the networking industry have been widely recognized on a worldwide basis, and he is often referred to as the Father of Fast Ethernet and the King of Gigabit Ethernet. Because of his technical leadership and vision, Mr. Daines has a record of attracting and retaining the best talent in the industry. He holds a B.S. in Computer Science from Brigham Young University. ### Gerry Sumner Hailed as the “Father of the Canadian PC Industry,” Mr. Sumner's companies have delivered more PC-technology-related sales to Canadian and various North American organizations than any other individual in Canada. For the last 20 years, Mr. Sumner has built up an exclusive position of representing leading offshore technology product manufacturers and OEM providers. As CEO of Delta Marketing, Mr. Sumner has managed yearly sales cycles of over $300 million to major North American technology users. His companies have been the exclusive and dominant distribution channels for a wide variety of industry labels such as Commodore, Apricot, KDS, Proton, Asustek, and various others. He has directed and managed successful sales and marketing teams with hundreds of employees. His 25-plus years of experience in sourcing products for the electronics and technology markets have given him the ability to assemble a worldwide network of leading industry executives among the major manufacturing organizations of technology. ## Relationship to the Webiness–CSL reconstruction Bryant McGill identifies Artesian Direct as the company for which he served as Chief Technology Officer. He remembers that Artesian was positioned to take over Webiness before that transaction failed to complete and before he subsequently took over Webiness himself and began integrating it into Computational Scientific Laboratories. That sequence is compatible with surviving independent reporting: Artesian publicly announced a Webiness asset purchase and divisional relationship, while Webiness general manager Dan Daines said the negotiations had not concluded and characterized the announcement as unauthorized. The record therefore supports a planned Artesian transaction, not a completed Artesian acquisition.
