# Photo Journey Collection > [!summary] The shortest account > They say a picture is worth a thousand words. I have 250,000 pictures, so this should be an interesting collection. **Photo Journey** is my life told one photograph at a time. Each entry pairs an image with the scene it captured and my own reflection on what the moment came to mean. Each one is threaded to the livestreams I was broadcasting at the time, to my writing and Reminders, and to the places in the wiki where it happened. ## How each entry works Every entry opens with the photograph or video and a few italic lines that set the scene: who was there, where, and when. My reflection follows, written from what I remember. Then come the livestreams, writing and wiki pages that connect to it, and at the bottom a map that pins the exact spot. Each entry also preserves the original camera record: the date and time, the camera, the exposure, and the original file. The section's landing page is [[photo journey/welcome|Photo Journey]]. ## Entries Newest first by the date the photo was taken. Titles link to the complete entry; dates and summaries come from each file's frontmatter. **[[photo journey/2019-02-25 - Bryant and the Eight Ball Cane in San Antonio|Bryant and the Eight Ball Cane in San Antonio]]** _(February 25, 2019)._ No. 1, the first published entry. A late-February afternoon in San Antonio, a cane topped with an eight ball, and what the years that followed taught me about tricksters, boundaries, and my own advice. ## Places on the journey - [[wiki/San Antonio, Texas|San Antonio, Texas]]: February and March 2019.
