A friend in our community that takes amazing pictures had been very quite during this time. When we drove down his street he came out, smiled, took pictures and sate on santas lap. He has just recently told us (my husband who buildt the float, a friend who was santa and myself) that he was very depressed at the time and had what i call very dark thoughts didn't know if he would make it to the next day and the Float helped him feel joy and bring him out of his dark place (yes i am crying while typing this).
