Listening for what you may be missing in life...

The poetry in the world, is the poetry in your heart.ย If you don’t see the poetry, now you know where to look. Life is speaking to you, through the portal of your awareness. Each step toward greater awareness, unlocks gifts and freedoms, which can only be granted from within. Most of what we miss out … See More...

Blessed by the poetry that is life ,the grand poet that created it and the poet inside each of us. Once we are awakened , the poetry is ever flowing. The dream becomes the reality. Miracles abound. The smile on a babyโ€™s face , the glisten of tears and raindrops, the human touch , smell, taste , sound... the color of grass and the cotton ball clouds , the birds in the blue sky ,rainbows , wind and beach filled laughter... how can one not breathe and appreciate the poetry that is life? Oh how beautiful this royal poetry of hearts connected , expanding and sharing in all that is life and love. Thank you , Mr. and Mrs. McGill for inspiring this magical poetry and cultivating a world for it.

LOVED this video and article โค๏ธ I am Connecting more and more with being awareness and "noticing". I have noticed that when I speak about this, I tend to get push back or negative energies or it causes unintended arguments. Working on #seeingmyselffully โค๏ธ Yes, I have felt it before. Like a waterfall of sparkles! :D A rush of Love, support, exciting and good nervousness. Thank you!
Yes, yes, yes!!!! I feel The manic when I go Back to my home town of Greenfield , ca. It has the most amazing medowes, mountains, rivers! I can Lose myself in the beauty of it all I can Feel tears rolling down my face out of just THE MAJIC THAT I FEEL FROM MY SUROUNDINGS!!! It is an unexplainable, beautiful , breathtaking, also remembering my long gone loved ones, the beautiful waisted time I had There whit by beautiful mother. Why waisted? Because NOW I wish I could Go back in time and appreciate her more, the clothes she would make for me with so much love and detailes, the times I just Sit next to her because I needed Her company but didnโ€™t say nothing just watched her do her cook, see listened to her wile she read to me all with soooo much love and paitience . In Texas thatโ€™s where I live Now the only majic is the semi worm calm kind of wind that reminds me of the times I spent With her. I need Her so much but Iโ€™m glad she is not present to see how her adorable son died, she loved him so much she would have died with him. She lost three befor her passing but this one .... was always helping her anything she needed he was there not one day went by without a bellow from him he was a short person when he was 5 in the winter time he would get up early to go get logs to yo put in the wood stove so that mom and her other babies wouldnโ€™t be cold. Mom said he was so tiny and would break her heart when he would come in with wood. But he was so sneaky not to wake her up. Now my sister with cancer , suffering and she is so humble and the sweetest person. My other sister having a stroke! She wiuldnt be able to take so much pain. Now I understand Why God took her when he did.๐Ÿ˜ข

Ooooooo.... This is NAIL.HAMMER.HEAD stuff! This is EXACTLY how it is! Life IS speaking to us but we're not listening because we are SO distracted by the falsity... the distractions are SO MANY that not many truly connect with life. People ARE in such a daze (insert all kinds of zombies!)! We have been fed into believing that it's the HUGE things that will bring you happiness... name, fame, money, all the luxuries out there when in fact, the greatest luxury are the ordinary things and moments. You can't be a poet without the poetry and for that, you must first become poetry. All the distractions only cut off the flow of the poetry of life if YOU let them. Poetry is everywhere. STOP.LOOK.LISTEN.GET LOST in the moment and then tell me you didn't just become a poet!
Maria Koszler
I love to take my journal with me and write my thoughts to use with my photo's Mary Piland do you do that?
So true Bryant! When we allow ourselves to experience the truth, beauty , authenticity of any given moment, it changes us, opens our eyes, enhances us for the better! Your video reminded me of a poem I wrote in my younger years. In a huge brave step I have never taken before, I will share it now with all of you, and also go post it on my page, and perhaps make it my first submission. At the time I wrote this, I was not in a relationship, I was just pondering the experience of life, and learning and growing, and this came to me. The Muse An original poem by Sue This is a song with no words It has a hauntingly sweet melody That whispers tenderly to your spirit And moves you to moments of Bittersweet tears It is a charging song of Passion, and freedom, and flight To such breathtaking heights That it stirs your soul till You let yourself fly swiftly to Peaks of thanksgiving and exhilaration It is a song that showers love Through your whole body And lets a soothing stillness Enter your mind It is a song of challenges New paths to ponder and explore That leave you at times frightened And many times in awe When this melody accomplishes these things It will have one last task To let you know I am not the musician I am listening And the music is you

Your videos are always like a fairytale for me. Because i have 2 visually impaired sons and husband who see only the light and hear very badly even with hearing aid so we have no eye contact and yelling all i have to say... i am his caregiver so after retirement i got on working 24/7 with most 1.2 hours own time some days. I had my best time when i took a dog and we had that eye contact,,,,she was my girl. I was beaten throughout my childhood and it could have been any guy to take me out of there. My husband never told me this eye problem was hereditary so he decided to make me pregnant to have me. And i wanted to show my parents i can take it. Now i have been in this prison soon 60 years without any love, all i felt was pity and now i sometimes hate him for what he did, took my whole life. Because i take care of everything i have no real friends, only fb friends . i had back surgery year 2000 and still have hard nerve pain next damage in 2016 surgery should have been too risky so now i can't feel my right foot. And still i am the one who take care of "him" and all what needs at home and "loan" my eyes and ears and he live all these years like in hotel,,,served. I am disappointed in life. Waiting for summer when i can be 1 hour in the forest alone ,,,i leave him listening to some book that time. We either never have any help from our kids ,,,,it's me who sometimes have to be their eyes too. So do not wonder if i wish i not will be on this planet for many years more. You speak English so it's easy to understand, not too fast. So thank you Jenni and Bryan

My most magical moments is spending time with my grandkids. Listening to what they have to say. They sharing their experiences describing all the little details, so innocent. I learn a lot from them. Moments like this is priceless โค๏ธ
Thanks Briant I loved this video and I read the article again and again . Once I felt that poetry of my self . I could have it , touch it and even being the rhyme. But, no , I am sorry not any more . When I was listening to the vedio; I could hardly hear your words as the planes , messils and bombs' voices were louder than any other voice or poetry in the world. Unfortunately, I couldn't and no soon I will be able to be anything. Thanks again. Wishing you all the best.

Hello Bryant and Jenni๐Ÿ’• This article/video is a great reminder to keep the poetry alive in our daily lives. It's true that sometimes the poetry in my life dies when I get destructed by the noise going on around me. It is only through awareness and getting in touch with the truth in myself that I can revive such poetry. Poetry is alive every minute and second of the day If l just open my 5 senses and marvel at the beauty and love surrounding me. At Home, poetry is in the form of : A random hug and 'i love you mama' from my teenage daughter My husband cooking for me and checking that the car I'm driving is in great condition My daughter who doesn't fail to thank me for the things i do for her At work: A kind and supportive working environment Flexible hours which allows me to have a balanced life and more time for myself and family Others: Love/ understanding/ Positive encouragement / patience from friends and family (Bryant/Jenni/Rs) The beauty behind each Changing season Healing power of nature, music and LOVE My CALLING, PURPOSE, TALENTS,GOD, UNIVERSAL SYNCHRONICITIES, MYSELF Yes, I'm a poetry by myself - my strengths, imperfections, my challenges, scars, the person I was before and the person who I'm about to become Isn't it amazing that when we're in tune with our higher self, we get to unravel / di scover so many things about us and the world. Thank you and sorry for sometimes takjng you for granted.๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ’•hugsm

I have found poetry in looking at life during my lifetime. Talking to a young child looking up at you. Sitting in the backyard at the house I grew up in beneath the apple tree when in blossom. And feeling the greatness when someone profoundly speaks the truth like when you do Bryant and I have an aha moment. It's good to be reminded to always be still and meditate on life's Marvel's, taking the time to realize all the intrinsic parts and appreciating them. Thank you for reminding us. ๐Ÿ’•

This is such a beautiful Reality . I to find nature every day the best place to seek release and the relief from the life of both kinds of pains deep look into how my life was changed by its truth!. I found the most personal truth about the body and it's meaning to my own vessel I learn to trust in It and find and, i did in as much found why we experience pain both mentally and it's counter part in pain of the physics of the bodys perception I think of as pain.. First through conditioning then though the understanding that it's all more about the mindset a mental responce, a factor of self utilized comportment and controlling the thoughts and why those thoughts are the most valuable life saving power and protecting shield we have as spirits indwelling a physical body of sences, we are given to experience life, and convey from that level of it in persona uunderstanding , it's the true living examples through what gives me value and where every breath that gives me every tweenty seconds + of clear agility and the mind of recall and mentally soundnest that came from being brave enough to believe within my heart I could and did find strenght to except life is what I choose and every answer if ever needed is found it mother nature so profound that itis the purest truth was revealed to me because I found I was equal to and the living entity In charge of what I except as . Iife of my truth about living in pain with understanding not all agree and that's OK by me because I am not trying to change others but gain a better translation of my own ability's to be able to make sure the reality's I live are real mg and a Value of the wisdoms I've experienced in my life the pains I have and my own choice's of perspective and those effects that control over my though patterns show me fro observation of what I comprehen of that which I see revealed in mother nature. A true blessing.
i enjoy a lot your video and i totally agree with you because when i look around me and feel this beautiful nature and when i spend hours meditate and hear the music of our mother nature , i realise that i'm the happiest person on earth and no pain can destroy me
Fatima Shahnaz Ahmad
Totally get you! There IS music in EVERYTHING!๐ŸŽผ SO MANY stories, SO little time! There's a story every minute!

You should seriously write an article about what happened with Wilbur Niewald :)

Poetry in motion, yes! Love this. It's amazing all the #bigMAGIC we miss before we decide to really "show up" for or own life experience. The great thing is that it is simply a choice to be present for it. Thank you for the reminder! On photoshoots we see it all the time. Strangers rolling out the red carpet. Doors opening & royal invitations. 91yr old world renowned artist Wilbur Niewald magically appears inside my lens. On the side of a hill overlooking Kansas City to interview & photograph. More stories than time to tell. All poetry in motion. It's wonderful that now it just flows. I actually hear music now in everything. The leaves rustling. The cars bustling. My heart beating. Being present is poetry. It is who we are at our core.
Bryant McGill
Daniela, Thank you for this tremendous testament, and sharing of your ideas!
So Bryant, i have no time to answer here..My moments of poetry: a verly early one, i was five years old, at my grandparents, who lived by a river, had a lot of animals and a beautiful big garten with a lot of different trees with fruits, different flowers and vegetables. One day i was by the river, i felt that i was the part of something huge, a tiny part of a whole universe which surrounded me, and i was happy to feel something like that. Than also in that age i become to feel sometimes, that every tree different from the other ones is, and that every tree wants to tell me something, if i just wait until they want and can say something. It was not saying with words but with feelings or awareness, cognition. Poetry between me and the universe, poetry between me and the trees, a kind of language. Later i felt that poetry every time i've made aquaintance with a new child or adult. The very first impression, who tell you something about that person. (And no, it doesn't interest me the opinion, that the first impression it's just a illusion. The life showed me, that i was right, even if i thought in that moment, that i don't have to take too serious the very first impression. It is important.) The very first impression when you meet an animal. Or when you buy a plant, a flower for your home. I "listen" to them, i wait until they want to "tell" me something, to send me Something and after that i buy or not that living being. Poetry: the moment you see your babies for the very first time. Poetry: when you make aquanintance with a person with a beautiful charakter and you can feel this, it can be a child, an adult or an old person. You feel poetry when your soul touches theirs. Poetry: you read a good book in the garden, you're sitting under a tree and the breeze is blowing, you hear music who let you grow, you feel love for the world and for yourself as a treasure who wants to make the world better. Poetry: you smell something beautiful (something you can eat or just a flower or a parfume you love). Poetry: the life shows you in moments, that God is here, in situations, in people, in you. Poetry: you dream something and a few days, months later it happens. This is a little scary, that's why i don't want to dream like this, it was in the childhood and after that no more. Poetry: when you are scared as a child and you "speak" with your fear and you feel how it is disappearing. Poetry: when you're walking by the river or the lake. Poetry: when you understand with the person you love without words. You just look at him and understand what he is going through or what he wants to transmit you without words. Poetry: you see a painting in a museum and it gaves you feelings. You see, i feel a lot of poetry in my life. Have a day full of poetry :). Daniela
By the end of your video. . I am smiling, thanks Bryant.

I always find peace when I walk in nature. I love to take walks in parks especially where there is water. One of my favorite parks is down by a river. I usually walk with my dog. I take pictures of the beautiful scenery. I connect with my dog and nature at the same time. I use to go myself and journal down by the river. I have been going through hard times but this liftts me up. The poetry of the beauty that surrounds me feeds my soul. My favorite is to go to the beach and walk and sit and meditate by the ocean.
Maria Koszler
I can realte to what you said here. Life speaks to all our senses but we have to stop the commotion of every day verbiage, switch off the electronics, the noise in our heads in my case with meditation and just listen as you said to "the transmission". I lost myself, and when I walked away and seriously shut myself off from the world, I found the joy again, that single hour when the sun rises and sets, I heard the sound of church bells at noon and 6pm at the church around the block from me that I never could hear before, they only rang every day fo rthe past 50 years I am told... my eyes were opened to the homeless around me that I just walked by every day not paying attention. I found mother nature calling me for a very long overdue visit and It is like I never want to leave that sound of the wind blowing through the branches on the trees. I found the poetry in the street and so much more . I can realte to what you said here. Life speaks to all our senses but we have to stop the commotion of every day verbiage, switch off the electronics, the noise in our heads in my case with meditation and just listen as you said to "the transmission". I came to a stage where I lost myself, and when I walked away and seriously shut myself off from the world, no tv, no radio, no newpapers, and just going and reading what I wanted to read not what others wanted me to see and hear I found the joy again, that single hour when the sun rises and then again sets. I heard the sound of church bells at noon and 6pm at the church around the block from me that I never could hear before, they only rang every day for the past 50 years I am told... my eyes were opened to the homeless around me that I just walked by every day not paying attention to them because I was to busy walking to where ever I was gong to, often not even seeing their faces. I found mother nature calling me for a very long overdue visit and It is like I never want to leave that sound of the wind blowing through the branches on the trees on a windy day of any season. I found the poetry in the street and so much more. Life takes my breath away each day. I just wish there had been a Bryant McGill and Jenni YoungMcGill around me 30 years ago with their reminders of what life is truly all about...Namaste

Poetry is everywhere until you are capable to see it. Indeed, you can give a glance to somebody you don't even know and feel like you have been knowing each other for years!! People have lost the meaning of life. There are so hustle that they forget to pause and realise that their life is slipping over their hands. They don't believe in poetry, or literature, they behave like some kind of machines with no feelings whatsoever. Beauty surrounds us but we are incapable of see it. We are too busy with our miserable lifes that we tend to ignore the beauty of life.
Nicholas J Cobos
For years I listened to the "noise" of life, that was hard. Always listening to the doubt whispers in my head and the doubt shouters around me in person. I had no clue of my own self worth. Even if people were nice to me I still couldn't hear or believe it for myself, you know? Now, today I understand how to be still when I need to, or crank up the music and walk on a nice warm day. I know that my heartbeat and my place here is just a valuable as anyone else's.

Bryant .. I remember the first time I heard you say โ€œyou are the damn poetryโ€ in that moment I connected deeper with my soul & the desire to connect with everything around me ... this past year has been tough and Iโ€™ve not shined my light as much as I desire to .. getting back to being me slowly ... I think a lot of us are as it seems that 2017 was less than kind to many ... love you all stay blessed .. and be the poetry that you are - since I am the damn poetry - I will read me - learn me - and speak the lines of who I am passionately so that no one I encounter will mistake me for less than the greatness that I am ... I AM Donna LiAne ๐Ÿ‘‘๐Ÿ‘‘๐Ÿ’—๐Ÿ˜˜

Beautiful words! Sometimes, when out in nature, I have had thoughts that everyone should know the serenity and peace of a quiet forest, or the silence of the desert, and with family, everyone should know of this love.
