# Relay Ecology Relay ecology is the distributed, multi-actor structure through which an influence frame moves without requiring a single centralized command. ## Possible nodes Originators seed a frame; amplifiers accelerate it; institutions launder or legitimize it; persona scaffolds manufacture consensus; platforms select high-engagement variants; authentic activists carry genuine grievance; opportunists attach adjacent agendas; and state-aligned systems tune timing or reach. ## Analytic consequence The visible speaker may be the last-mile carrier rather than the source or beneficiary. Analysis therefore follows routing, timing, mutation, synchronization, funding, and amplification instead of assigning responsibility solely from the final message. ## Boundary Distributed similarity is not proof of coordination.
