## Independently verified public context

[Sarasota County’s facility record](https://www.scgov.net/Home/Components/FacilityDirectory/FacilityDirectory/604/41) confirms the reserve’s formal and common names.
## Archival assessment
The month-long urgent push toward this particular reserve to “escape the hackers,” combined with pressure to abandon technology, opposition to recording and witnesses, and a suggestion to pack a backpack, was fucking weird. The reserve’s verified role in the later public search made it even stranger.
