# Greek-Letter Alumni Networks Greek-letter alumni networks carry fraternity and sorority membership beyond college. Alumnae and alumni groups, local chapters, foundations, conferences, mentoring, scholarship, fundraising, and service projects make a relationship formed on one campus available across generations and geography. Their significance lies in this repeatable organizational form: a small collegiate bond can become a national infrastructure of introductions, leadership, mutual aid, and coordinated action. The National Panhellenic Conference describes geographically based alumnae associations; the National Pan-Hellenic Council describes local and alumni councils connecting national direction to community service. These are publicly described institutional capacities, not an assumption that every member acts together or that every opportunity is controlled by a hidden network. ## Sources - [NPC member and alumnae associations](https://npcwomen.org/about/our-members/). - [NPHC councils and community work](https://www.nphchq.com/where-we-work/).
