## Definition
**Mind Upload** is the proposed transfer, emulation or reconstruction of a person's cognitive organization in a nonbiological substrate. It raises separate questions about technical fidelity, consciousness, personal identity, continuity and whether a transmitted pattern is the original subject or a successor copy.
