# North American Interfraternity Conference The North American Interfraternity Conference is a trade association of inter/national men's fraternities. Its member organizations include fraternities with different leadership, faith, multicultural, professional, and historical traditions. Through advocacy, standards, educational programs, and interfraternal coordination, the conference gives a diverse set of autonomous organizations a common institutional platform. NIC is one branch of [[wiki/Fraternities and Sororities|American fraternity and sorority life]]. Its partnerships with other umbrella groups show how the American Greek-letter tradition can cooperate across distinct memberships rather than reducing them to one organization. ## Sources - [Member Fraternities](https://nicfraternity.org/member-fraternities/), North American Interfraternity Conference. - [Interfraternal Partners](https://nicfraternity.org/ufaqs/interfraternal-partners/), North American Interfraternity Conference.
