# Prepared Citizen Kit **Domain:** Aesthetic / Operational Readiness **System:** American Aesthetic ## Definition The Prepared Citizen Kit is a maintained set of ordinary tools that preserves options under interruption, weather, travel, minor emergency, and public need. Light, power, water, documents, first aid, writing tools, and context-appropriate equipment reduce preventable helplessness. The kit is designed around calm service rather than survivalist theater. Readiness becomes civic when it allows a person to help without becoming another problem. ## Place in the American System Prepared Citizen Kit is developed from American Aesthetic - Accoutrements - The Prepared Citizen Kit and belongs to the American Collection.
