# Adversarial Resilience
Adversarial resilience is a system's ability to continue trustworthy operation, detect manipulation, limit damage, and recover when another actor deliberately exploits it. It requires redundancy, monitoring, identity assurance, provenance, bounded permissions, backups, incident response, and rehearsed restoration.
For influence systems, resilience also includes semantic continuity: the operator must be able to distinguish authentic messages and audience behavior from altered outputs or corrupted analytics.
