# Agentic Capitalism **Domain:** Economics / Capitalism / Artificial Intelligence **Doc Type:** Concept Node **Maturity:** Developing ## Definition **Agentic capitalism** is a form of economic organization in which AI agents become broadly available productive capacity: they help individuals and firms discover opportunities, organize resources, operate tools, maintain administrative continuity, and coordinate work across markets. The concept focuses on who receives executable intelligence. If agentic capacity is concentrated inside large firms, it strengthens the advantages of scale. If capable personal agents are broadly distributed, they can lower the minimum viable size of an enterprise and give individuals access to functions once purchased as management, research, marketing, administration, and technical staff. ## Agentic Capital An agent can function as **agentic capital**: a reusable capacity that combines cognition, memory, software access, and follow-through. It does not replace financial capital, physical equipment, land, energy, or human relationships. It changes how effectively those resources can be assembled and used. This creates a new distribution question inside [[wiki/Capitalism|capitalism]]. Ownership of models, runtimes, data, payment rails, application access, memory, and identity systems can determine who is able to form firms and who remains dependent on platforms.
