# Army Cyber Command **Entity class:** United States Army service component command **Domain:** Cyberspace operations / information advantage / network defense **Aliases:** ARCYBER; U.S. Army Cyber Command **Maturity:** Developed ## Definition **Army Cyber Command (ARCYBER)** conducts full-spectrum cyberspace operations integrated with land, air, maritime, space and special operations. Its public mission is to ensure U.S. and allied freedom of action in cyberspace while denying the same to adversaries. It operates and defends Army networks and can deliver authorized cyberspace effects. ## Counterterrorism Infrastructure ARCYBER makes the counterterrorism–cybersecurity convergence concrete. Army installations, weapons, logistics, identity services, communications and data systems are cyber terrain. Defending those systems against terrorist or other malicious actors is counterterrorism infrastructure even when a civilian agency leads a related domestic criminal case. The command works with intelligence formations.
