# Base Reality
## Definition
**Base Reality** is the environment treated as the originating causal domain relative to a model, twin, reconstruction, or simulated world. In the host-infrastructure corpus, the term is used only at this level of abstraction; its presence in a relationship graph does not settle philosophical identity, authorize surveillance, or establish a corporate continuity program.
