## Definition
**Combined Joint All-Domain Command and Control (CJADC2)** is the U.S. Department of Defense approach to connecting sensors, decision-makers, and effectors across services, domains, and allied or partner forces.
## Significance
CJADC2 treats information exchange and decision advantage as a cross-domain architecture rather than a single platform. The key questions are semantic interoperability, data custody, permissions, latency, resilience, and the difference between making systems mutually legible and placing them under one owner.
