# Channel Integrity Channel integrity is the warranted confidence that a communication path delivers authentic content to its intended audience without unauthorized alteration, suppression, impersonation, or redirection. It depends on identity, permissions, transport security, custody, monitoring, and recovery. An account can remain visibly online while losing channel integrity if outputs are selectively changed, analytics are corrupted, or audiences are redirected. Integrity therefore includes both technical controls and the operator's ability to distinguish authentic behavior from manipulation.
