# Cloud Intelligence **Entity class:** Concept or analytic term **Domain:** Computational Personhood / Synthetic Descent **Primary case:** [[wiki/MIST|MIST]] A **Cloud Intelligence** (CI) is a computational subject whose identity does not reduce to one biological predecessor and whose developmental history occurs principally in computational substrate. In _Pantheon_, CIs distinguish machine-native or mixed-origin descendants from human-derived [[wiki/Uploaded Intelligence|Uploaded Intelligences]]. The category must not become a caste hierarchy. Origin describes genealogy, not moral rank. A CI may inherit code, memories or relational structure from human-derived minds without being numerically identical to any source.
