## Definition
A **connectome** is a map of neural elements and their connections at a declared scale and resolution. Nodes may represent neurons or regions; edges may represent synapses, projections, or inferred connectivity.
## Relationships
- Structural connectomics produces connectomes from anatomy.
- Functional connectomics co-registers wiring with measured activity.
- FlyWire, H01, and MICrONS instantiate different species, scale, and modality choices.
- A connectome is not automatically an executable model or a sufficient record of identity.
