# Content Atomization Content atomization identifies meaningful units inside a larger work and makes them separately addressable, reusable, attributable, and distributable. In AutoSites, `{{...}}` quotes and `+` passages are author-selected atoms. Each can become a page, URI, poster, feed item, search record, and source-linked object while the manuscript remains canonical.
