# Continuity Governance
## Definition
Continuity governance is the institutional architecture for deciding how a person-like computational process may be acquired, instantiated, hosted, repaired, migrated, copied, merged, retired and represented.
## Scope
It joins technical integrity to rights, custody, infrastructure, provenance and due process. It must separate the power to host a continuant from authority to alter or speak for that continuant.
