Its purpose is to reduce adversarial anonymity without collapsing uncertain similarity into asserted identity. Biometrics strengthened this layer by connecting fingerprints, palm prints, iris patterns, facial geometry, voice, and DNA to encounter and forensic records. The broader identity architecture also includes names, aliases, document numbers, addresses, communications identifiers, devices, travel history, financial relationships, and graph context.
