Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and the United Kingdom are examples of sovereign realms sharing Charles III as monarch. Their shared monarch does not merge their parliaments, ministers, militaries, courts, or legal authority. ## Canada In Canada, executive authority is vested in the Canadian Crown and exercised under responsible government by Canadian ministers.
