Feigenbaum** is a computer scientist associated with Stanford and a principal architect of knowledge-based systems and the DENDRAL project. ## Nexus Context Feigenbaum helped establish the expert-system insight that performance in a bounded domain can depend more on rich, well-structured knowledge than on a universally powerful search method. This became the “knowledge principle” of knowledge engineering.
