For digital persons, energetic sovereignty is the material basis of continued existence. Data may be portable; persistence remains dependent on physical infrastructure located somewhere and maintained by someone. --- ## General Context The shift from data sovereignty to compute sovereignty reveals that local storage and domestic law are insufficient when inference, hardware, grid access, or maintenance remain controlled elsewhere.
