## Definition
An **episode graph** represents events as linked nodes connected by temporal, causal, contextual, behavioral, and anticipatory relations. It can associate antecedents, states, actions, consequences, people, places, and recurring patterns.
## Continuity relevance
Episode graphs preserve the relational organization of lived events and can support prediction or reconstruction. They remain models of event structure, not proof that subjective experience itself has been preserved.
