# Extremism Interdiction Extremism interdiction comprises lawful, evidence-based measures intended to interrupt movement toward violence or organized harm. In the information domain, it can include early narrative detection, off-ramps, trusted intervention, cognitive inoculation, friction at propagation bottlenecks, and restoration of credible alternatives. Interdiction is not the suppression of unpopular belief. Measures should be tied to behavior and credible risk, preserve due process and civil liberties, and be evaluated for displacement, stigmatization, or unintended escalation.
