Feedback occurs when information about a system's output returns as input that can alter the system's next action.
In Bryant's writing practice, publication and audience response returned information about clarity, resonance, misunderstanding, and emotional effect. That signal informed revision, but authorial values—not engagement alone—determined the correction.
