# Full-Stack Sovereign Compute Ecosystem
## Definition
Regional capability spans chip design, packaging, computation, models, simulation, and delivery into mission institutions. Bryant uses the concept to connect Austin's hardware and mathematical strengths with operational recipients.
## Regional role
Microelectronics integration supplies compact physical capability, and large computational systems supply the resources for scientific and AI work. TIE’s manufacturing program and TACC’s systems occupy distinct institutional roles. Their proximity lets models, hardware, researchers, and mission recipients exchange useful work through defined projects and interfaces rather than an assumed unified program.
