Finch's teaching changes the Machine, while the Machine changes the team's identities, practices and possibilities. This is not a static tool-user hierarchy. Symbiosis requires boundaries. Dependency can make refusal impossible; selective disclosure can govern the human partner; silent platform changes can rewrite the coupled system. Protections therefore include portability, disclosed changes, negotiated constraints, separate standing, exit and clarity about which party authorized an action.
