# InfraGard **Entity class:** FBI-private-sector partnership ## Definition **InfraGard** is a partnership between the Federal Bureau of Investigation and private-sector critical-infrastructure owners, operators, professionals, academics, public-safety personnel, and other stakeholders. It provides education, networking, and two-way information sharing concerning threats and risk. As of 2026, the FBI reports more than 40,000 members in more than 70 local chapters.
