# Joint Interagency Task Force-Counter Cartel **Aliases:** JIATF-CC **Entity class:** Joint interagency operational task force ## Definition The **Joint Interagency Task Force-Counter Cartel (JIATF-CC)** was established by USNORTHCOM on January 15, 2026 to coordinate U.S. government resources used to identify, disrupt, and dismantle cartel operations along the U.S.–Mexico border.
