His work ranged across neural networks, symbolic representation, robotics, perception, frames, common-sense reasoning and theories of mind. ## Society of Mind Minsky’s [[Society of Mind]] approach treats intelligence as the emergent coordination of many comparatively limited processes or “agents.” No single agent contains the whole mind; higher-order capability arises through their organization, conflict, correction and cooperation.
