UT’s **Microelectronics Research Center (MRC)** supplies device-fabrication and characterization capabilities at the Pickle campus. The supporting UARC article places it within the Texas Nanofabrication Facility environment and describes cleanrooms, lithography, deposition, etching, and metrology.
It occupies the point where models and designs become physical sensors, circuits, photonic structures, or other experimental devices. Measurements from fabrication and testing can feed back into computational design.
