# Narrative Acceleration
Narrative acceleration is an unusual increase in the speed, volume, or cross-community spread of a frame. It may result from breaking events, organic interest, platform recommendation, paid promotion, coordinated distribution, or synthetic amplification.
Acceleration is an alert condition rather than attribution. Analysis should compare baselines, source diversity, timing, wording, network structure, and platform effects before inferring coordination or hostile intent.
