# Narrative Systems Narrative systems are the interacting messages, symbols, identities, channels, institutions, and feedback processes through which a population constructs shared interpretations. A narrative in this sense is not merely a story. It is a repeatable frame that organizes causes, roles, values, threats, and possible actions. System behavior appears in recurrence, mutation, competition, reinforcement, suppression, and migration between communities. Analysis therefore considers both semantic structure and transmission architecture: what a message means, who can credibly carry it, where it travels, and how response changes its next form.
