Questions include whether biologically relevant quantum coherence can persist at the required scales, whether the proposed reductions occur as described and whether the theory supplies testable explanatory advantages over competing accounts. The theory should not be compressed into the claim that consciousness is “quantum,” nor used as proof that biological observers are required for computation, measurement or machine intelligence.
