Execution has resumed, but the restored system's temporal integration, recognition and identity bindings are damaged. ## Restoration Is a Constitutional Event The episode supplies the clearest fictional statement that successful boot is not successful restoration. A process can run while failing to preserve the relationships and discriminations through which it previously acted as a coherent subject.
