# Publication Node A publication node is an independently addressable semantic object that participates in a larger document and distribution graph. In AutoSites, a marked quotation or passage can become a page with its own URI, title, poster assets, search record, feed record, backlinks, and provenance edge to its source. It is not an uncontrolled duplicate; it is a rebuildable projection of canonical writing.
