# RSS RSS is an XML-based syndication format for publishing ordered items through a stable feed URL. In WordChirp and AutoSites, RSS is an interoperability boundary rather than the location of canonical content. Collection routes and parameters can select semantic units and compute timing, identity, attribution, length, probability, and media behavior when the feed is requested.
