RTP supports sequencing and timing information but relies on surrounding protocols and system design for session negotiation, synchronization, quality monitoring, security, and recovery behavior. ## Neural-interface role RTP can transport time-sensitive clinical streams, but packet delivery alone does not establish multimodal alignment or confidentiality. Those require shared clocks, metadata, network engineering, and external security controls.
