The term emphasizes reception without treating the receiver as passive. A replica body receives remote agency, a computational environment receives an executable continuity state, and an institution receives a new kind of claimant through its identity and legal systems. Each contributes constraints that shape what the arriving process can become. ## Distinction from Receiving Theater The receiving substrate is the **implementation and persistence layer**.
