# Sandia National Laboratories A U.S. Department of Energy national laboratory managed from 1949 to 1993 by [[wiki/Western Electric|Western Electric]] (later AT&T Technologies), embedding [[wiki/Bell Labs|Bell Labs]] personnel and methodologies in the heart of the American nuclear weapons complex.
