It differs from a published conclusion and from later testimony: its evidentiary function is to establish which constraints preceded the result. ## Minimum provenance An admissible record should preserve the original unmodified capture, platform and capture time, model or tool identity, session and interface identity, complete instruction text, answer artifact, interval between instruction and answer, and an explicit statement of what the instruction did and did not specify. The record establishes order of discovery, not truth of interpretation.
