# Stephen Holstrom
**Domain:** Pantheon / Founder Sovereignty
**Series:** Pantheon
**Stephen Holstrom** is _Pantheon_'s continuity ideologue: a founder who seeks to preserve himself, control the upload architecture and force humanity toward substrate transition. His preserved biological brain functions as a cold archive awaiting an execution architecture.
Holstrom converts continuity from an individual possibility into a monopoly. The engineered life of Caspian treats another person as a developmental instrument; the integrity cure is reserved for the founder; the proposed pandemic attempts to make biological existence intolerable so that transition appears voluntary. This is transition consent destroyed by engineered conditions.
The useful historical frame is the founder-futurist archetype, including arguments associated with technological transcendence. It should not be collapsed into Stephen Hawking, whose long-duration assistive architecture depended on preserving the living speaker rather than replacing him with a claimed continuant.
## Plan B
Holstrom's “Plan B” is a reconstruction doctrine. Plan A preserves the completed mind through uploading. Plan B attempts to regenerate the mind-producing process through Genotype–Environment Reconstruction.
The target is functional: produce a successor capable of solving UI integrity. Holstrom therefore treats biography as an engineering object and formative experience as reproducible causal input. Zero Daze exposes the constitutional cost: the successor's childhood becomes an instrument owned by someone else's continuity project.
