# Texas Cyber Command
## Definition
Texas state institution created in June 2025 to coordinate threat intelligence and cyber incident response. Its San Antonio headquarters adds a state operational layer to the regional corridor.
## Regional role
Austin and San Antonio contribute complementary functions to the regional system. San Antonio hosts named federal signals, military information-warfare, and state cyber institutions; Austin supplies research, computation, microelectronics, doctrine, and commercial builders. The corridor is an architectural and geographic interpretation. Each organization keeps its own mission, authority, and professional participation requirements.
