Line edits updated syllable counts. Verse-form templates projected rhyme expectations beside the document. Rhyme Lines surfaced attested poetic precedent, while Word Explorer and the Hyperbolic Thesaurus exposed lexical senses and relations. The program's design thesis was to eliminate the lookup transaction. The writer did not have to leave the page, select a separate resource and reconstruct the interrupted train of thought.
