# Voluntary Re-Immersion
**Domain:** Simulation Rights / Consent
**Voluntary Re-Immersion** is consensual entry or re-entry into a bounded simulated environment by a subject who possesses meaningful knowledge of the environment and retains a legitimate exit pathway.
The final movement of _Pantheon_ frames Maddie and Caspian's return not as deception but as chosen inhabitation. That distinction is constitutional. A simulated world can be home, experiment, therapy, memory or prison depending on disclosure, consent, exit and administrator power. Awareness of artificiality does not make the experience unreal; lack of meaningful choice makes it coercive.
Valid re-immersion requires more than a nominal button. Exit must remain technically possible, identity must survive the transition, memory policies must be known, and outside operators must not silently alter the terms. A subject may also choose bounded forgetting, but that choice needs recoverable authorization and independent safeguards.
